Reviewed on 19th April 2024From the front of house staff to the bar and restaurant and the Spa everybody was excellent. The running of our sales meeting was great and the location of the hotel is fantastic. Will definitely use again and thanks for making our meeting go so well.
First class in all areas
My room was amazing with a lovely balcony overlooking the River Thames
Such a lovely setting, so close to the castle and river.
The selection at breakfast and lunch was very good with a great selection for vegetarians too.
2/5Disappointing
Reviewed on 18th April 2024I came with my aunt for my 60th and her 80th birthdays .
I paid for 2 rooms, one was a superior double .
We weren’t near each other and rooms were both small and dark, basic double overlooking another building . No way worth £219.
I ran a bath and the hot water turned cold so I had a like warm bath.
I requested a table in the brasserie for dinner when I booked 3 months previously .
On arrival I was told it was not reserved and first come first serve.
We got no birthday acknowledgement.
My aunt had to send her meal back as it was awful , she was then eating alone as I had finished mine.
Then last thing, I was woken at 7 am by the big metal bins being dragged under my window for 40 minutes and didn’t get back to sleep .
Booked a superior double for £219
It was smaller than pictures online looked, very dark as overlooked another building so no light coming in .
Hot water ran out filling up the bath.
Bed was comfortable though
Perfect location
Sirloin steak ordered , medium rare, 2 thin overcooked bits arrived and sent back
We had a free drink and had a glass of champagne which wee did t expect
5/5Enjoy our stay
Reviewed on 18th April 2024Everything about our stay was great. From staff, to our room, restaurant service and food. Also, the location.

4/5Windsor stay over
Reviewed on 18th April 2024Lovely, relaxed stay at TCW Hotel. A sunny few days helped make my stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. We have stayed at The Abbey, Malvern (another Savona Hotel) and standards were up to those very high levels at TCW Hotel too. Lovely Hotel.
4/5Good vist
Reviewed on 18th April 2024Good visit though I would rate your 'Star' rating as a little less.
Great location, ideal for all visitors.
Rooms are 'OK,' furniture in number 47 was certainly very old. However bed very comfortable indeed
Staff excellent and always helpful
5/5Lovely break in Windsor
Reviewed on 17th April 2024Lovely 2 day break in Windsor - horse racing and sightseeing. Hotel is in a great location right by the Thames, train station and castle. The room was cosy with all the expected things, comfy bed, nice toiletries, kettle etc All the staff were welcoming, friendly and professional. Highly recommended
5/5Nice located and comfortable hotel
Reviewed on 17th April 2024Enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Good size rooms, quiet from outside noise. Polite and accurated staff. Great location for wandering in the surroundings. We will come back for sure.
Works ok. But the not secured network dont attracts. Beter to make a secure wifi with password. Everybody stranger can use this network now.
Very polite staff. Maybe a bit to much the outspoken word “sorry”. There is nothing to be sorry for. Outstanding job.
Good size. Everthing complete, tidy an clean
In the middle of ancient village and wandering point like Eaton and the castle surroundings and along the Thames etc. Dont need a car to see much.
Good breakfast possibilities and good roomservice too.
Every day good cleaning. Clean bed and towels. Perfect
4/5Generally good, but the climb to our room was a trial. All of the staff were pleasant and helpful.
Reviewed on 17th April 2024Room was fine, but breakfast was disappointing. On Saturday there was nowhere to put the heavy tops from the hot food, while attempting to put food on a plate. The tops had been removed on Sunday morning, but even though we were quite early the scrambled egg was congealed.
5/5A great place to stay
Reviewed on 16th April 2024First class hotel in an excellent location. Couldn't find fault with anything really. If you want to go to Windsor, stay there.
Easy to log in, never thought about it after that.
Prompt, knowledgeable, helpful service from room service right through
Needed connecting room which worked perfectly. High quality room and bathroom finishes, very quiet. In accommodation across the road from the main hotel, which is a little bit inconvenient but really not an issue for us.
Brilliant location right by the river. We had the table in the brasserie with a view of the river ..perfect. Also right in the centre of Windsor so very handy for the Castle, Long walk, river walks etc..
Good menu, good quality food with everything just right. My grandson aged 6 is coeliac and the hotel is great for that. Catered well, staff were knowledgeable about cross contamination etc.. Excellent.
Excellent
All good
5/5Lovely hotel with very helpful staff
Reviewed on 16th April 2024The hotel is very well situated, so convenient for the sights of Eton and Windsor. All the staff were friendly and helpful. There was a very good selection of food for breakfast.
The traditional double room was quite small, and it was disappointing not to have a fridge. The accessible room was very spacious and well equipped.
After booking the hotel I rang them to request blue badge parking. On the first call they said I would have to call back closer to the time to see if spaces were available. On the second call I was told that the request had been put on our booking. By the third call, the day before we arrived, we were told that we could have a space. It was hard to understand why this was so complicated.
Traditional double was smaller than expected.
Well placed for easy access to the river, Windsor and Eton.
Breakfast was good with a broad range of offerings
4/5Very enjoyable
Reviewed on 16th April 2024Great venue and fantastic staff who were very kind and always willing to help.
Food was amazing, the staff even sang happy birthday to my parents who both turned 80. The room was very comfy and clean.
We were expecting a complimentary drink which was not offered, only when I got home did I realise we were not given this. But it certainly did not ruin the weekend.
Didn't see or use
Very clean and comfy

1/5Not up to par
Reviewed on 16th April 2024I had to wait 15 mins to be checked in when arriving late at night as the man at the reception could not check me in and had to wait for a college to arrive (even thought I have checked in and paid online)
The nose from the bottle bins being emptied at 07:30 in the morning was not the awaking I was hoping for.
After breakfast and the brasserie was closed there was no where to sit for residents as the whole place had been taken over but a private function.
The hotel has some character but lacks class and the rooms feel cheaply renovated for the price charged.
The gym and location are good.
No a brilliant stay and would not recommend the hotel to friend and colleagues.
