Royal Berkshire County Show

Chieveley is once again the venue for this year’s Royal Berkshire County Show, and what a line up they have in store this year. This two-day event really rivals all others. Taking you back through the 20th Century there will be a display of vintage tractors and other farming machinery, still in full working order, and a display of past farming methods and how they changed through the years.  Keeping in with the vintage theme is an old fashioned funfair including a Victorian carousel! Sarova Hotels celebrates Employees’ Long Service

Fifteen Sarova employees, with an amazing 140 years’ service between, gathered together with their guests at the Sir Christopher Wren Hotel last month to celebrate their long service with the company in style! After a leisurely boat cruise along the Thames, partaking in champagne and delicious canapés, everyone enjoyed a fabulous four-course dinner with fine wines. After dinner the Sales & Marketing Director, Rajesh Vohra, presented the awards to the individuals and thanked them all for their support, hard work and loyalty. West Woodhay Garden Show

West Woodhay House Garden Show 2014

Ever since its first show back in June 2005, the West Woodhay House Garden Show has increased in popularity and is now one of the highlights of the gardening calendar.  This year the show has been entitled a ‘Festival of Gardening’ and offers two fantastic evenings. On Friday 13th June, there will be a gala evening featuring the Pocket Orchestra.  This is a hugely popular event, and guests are limited to 950, so book early to avoid being unlucky!  The evening provides a preview to the whole show, including the show gardens, and is open between 6.00pm and 9.00 pm....
