In its 18th year, Santa will arrive with his reindeer and greet children with a free gift in his Magical Den. Entertainment from local dance groups, choirs, jugglers and clowns throughout the day, along with a climbing wall, roundabout rides, bouncy castle and a big Ferris wheel, will keep children fully entertained, for more information visit the Woodley Town Centre website.
For those of you who want to step back in time, Hungerford’s Victorian Extravaganza is being held on 12th December. All the shops are adorned with Victorian style decorations and the shop keepers are dressed in keeping with the era. Steam engines, organs punch and Judy shows, stilt walkers and side stalls are just part of the entertainment on offer. Fairground rides, a big wheel and street entertainment is in abundance accompanied by the Hungerford Town Band and Scottish Pipe Bands.
