Christmas Celebrations in Windsor
It’s that time of the year again, where everyone is starting to think about the fast approaching holiday season. Wrap up warm and put your ice-skating skills to the test at Alexandra Gardens; the temporary ice-rink will be open from November through to January, and offers a great day out for the whole family. Or you can treat the little ones to a magical day out in LEGOLAND®, where you can experience the park with twinkling lights and snow-dusted pine trees. Take part in card making at the Enchanting Elves Workshop, indulge in a sweet treat at Mrs Christmas’ Kitchen, and visit Christmas Kingdom where Father Christmas will be waiting to treat children with a special LEGO® gift.
Windsor’s traditional Christmas lights switch on and lantern procession will be taking place at Windsor Castle this year. There will also be the opportunity to visit the Castle throughout December, to see the State Apartments and Dining Room transformed with spectacular Christmas decorations, and the six-metre Nordman Fir Christmas tree from Windsor Great Park, which will dominate St George’s Hall. You can also visit the Windsor Christmas Gift Fair for the ultimate festive shopping experience! The fair will take place at Royal Windsor Racecourse from 20th to 22nd November.
