Wheelchair Accessible facilities and bedrooms
Some of our hotel facilities are fully accessible to wheelchair users, including The Brasserie at Sir Christopher Wren and the riverside terrace. Both Thames House and Windsor House have ground floor, accessible toilet facilities. All blue badge holders can use our onsite valet car park free of charge during their stay, please let us know in advance as limited spaces mean these must be pre-booked.
You may see our full and detailed Accessibility Guide.
Due to Thames House being a listed building, there are no bedrooms with lift access. Guests who prefer a bedroom with lift access can request to stay in Windsor House which is located opposite Thames House. We have two accessible rooms for wheelchair users located on the ground floor of Windsor House. Both are fully wheelchair accessible and also have bathrooms with a roll-in shower and folding seat.
Hearing and visual impairments
We have a loop system at reception for hearing aid users. Hearing impaired guests can request a room with a pillow alarm and flashing fire alarm light. Please let us know your requirements when booking.
We welcome assistance dogs at Sir Christopher Wren Hotel. The lift in Windsor House is fitted with voice notifications and raised number buttons.
Accessible Event Facilities
The brand new Windsor Lounge offers accessible conference and event facilities in the heart of Windsor. Located on the ground floor with it’s own private entrance, separate courtyard and disabled toilet facilities, it makes for the ideal venue for meetings and events with accessible access.
