The location of the hotel was superb but what made our stay extra special was how fantastic all the staff were. They went over and above to make sure we were looked after. OUTSTANDING great room Where in the world could you get better We had nibbles on the terrace in the afternoon which were lovely could not fault it everything was spotless The bar staff were exceptional

Good location. Did not get the room type (King with shower) that I specifically requested - I phoned the hotel in June to confirm the room type. It took 3 attempts to get the correct room type. Bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were of very poor quality - about time they were replaced. Breakfast was uninspiring.

Hotel is in a great location being on the river and within a short walk of the castle and town. We were a family party of four and we appreciated the hotel arranging for our rooms to be close together. Both were Executive Doubles which were very spacious with pleanty of storage. I particularly liked the fact that power points were situated near mirrors - useful for hair drying. Excellent walk-in shower with option of rain or hand held showers. We booked direct and were given a free drink. Plenty of choice on the breakfast buffet served in a room with a fabulous view of the Thames. This was our third stay here and is now our go-to hotel in Windsor.

Staff are Bert helpful, kind and personable - from reception to restaurant to concierge to housekeeping. Everybody had high standards and made us feel liked valued guests. Rooms are a very good size (we stayed grand deluxe) and well equipped. Bed was vet TV comfy. Furniture and decor needs updating but is pleasant and clean. Location is superb- just beneath the castle, restaurants a plenty within a few minutes walk, the river and nearby other towns all walkable, a train station minutes away for direct access to London and beyond. Decor needs updating Shower head needs maintenance

The Sir Christopher Wren hotel is located on the banks of the Thames River and only a five minute walk away from downtown Windsor and Windsor Castle! The room was well appointed and a good size for a British hotel in a tourist destination. The location is amazing along sides of the Thames River and just a short walk away from downtown Windsor and Windsor Castle. The service was top-notch and the complementary breakfast was one of the best I have ever eaten. I highly recommend this location for your stay in Windsor.

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a lovely relaxing stay. The customer service was excellent from check-in to check-out. The room was nice and clean with coffee making facilities. Breakfast was excellent and it was nice to see they had vegetarian sausages on request. They were very tasty!. Would highly recommend staying at this hotel as it is a short walking distance from Windsor Castle.

Very good hotel - good service - very friendly staff

An amazing stay to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. The staff made it extra special for us by decorating the room. Staff on reception were all very helpful. Nice room with clean spacious bathroom. Very convenient location for sightseeing. We only had breakfast but it was excellent. Plenty of choice.

1st class service. Great breakfast. Top location It was closed due to Extinction Rebellion 3 day protest

The hotel very nice and the staff were very helpful, just the room let spoilt it for my wife and me. Because she is disabled not very good mobility, so we were put in a room on the ground floor across from the Christopher wren. The room was nice inside but there was no view from the window just a wall. And the cobble floor out side the room made it very noisy on a morning about 06.00am when the trolleys came buy. No view from the window, very disappointed. View the Thames on a morning was very good. Breakfast very good, the staff even made porridge for me. A bit expensive.

Location of hotel perfect, very close to all attractions. Very tasty breakfast. Spacious room. Would highly recommend
