Culture
Pride of place goes to the Theatre Royal Windsor, one of Britain’s oldest and most prestigious repertory theatres. Ranging from Agatha Christie adaptations and classic revivals to 19th-century operas and celeb-studded pantos, this beautiful theatre has something for everyone. Boasting an eclectic programme of contemporary music, theatre, dance, film and visual arts, the Firestation is a terrific cultural centre in the heart of Windsor. Families should check out its Saturday afternoon kids’ club.
As the name suggests, The Old Ticket Hall is housed inside the old Windsor and Eton Riverside Station. With live bands, open mic nights and a friendly atmosphere, this is a great choice for a late night on the town.
